Product Update: Multi-Factor Authentication Changes
On Saturday 11/23 at 10:00 AM CST we will be executing maintenance to update MFA requirements for QuickClaim. The expected downtime is 2 hours.
All QuickClaim and Stream users will be required to enroll in and use Multi-Factor Authentication. This change is being made as a necessary security configuration to protect you and your data.
We will start disabling accounts that log in after our go-live date and do not have MFA set up by 1/7/2025. Any new users, or users who do not log in until after 1/7/2025, will have 30 days to configure MFA on their account.
1. Rather than entering your Username, Password, and Authentication Token on the same form, the process will be split into two steps. First you will enter your Username and Password, then if you're enrolled in MFA, you will be prompted for your Authentication Token. This is more consistent with the way most web applications approach multi-factor authentication.
NOTE: If a user inputs the wrong username or password, they will be automatically directed to the authentication token page regardless of if they have enrolled. This is to ensure the system does not give up any information to any bad actors attempting to use the system. If a user is having issues accessing the system, please ensure they check the email address attached to their QuickClaim account for more information.
